A live-action series based on PUBG, the hit battle royale video game, is being developed with Donald Glover set to write, direct and star in the project.
Krafton, the South Korean game developer behind the global gaming franchise, is teaming up with Netflix to produce the series.
Glover, best known for creating and starring in the television series "Atlanta," for which he won Emmy and Golden Globe awards, will also serve as an executive producer.
PUBG is a player-versus-player shooter in which up to 100 players compete to be the last one standing. The game popularized the battle royale genre worldwide and ranks among the best-selling video games of all time.
